This series marks the conceptual origin of my artistic practice. Created in 2008, it introduces childhood for the first time as a foundational structure in the construction of subjectivity. The portraits present fragmented identities where childhood and adulthood coexist as a psychic and temporal continuum, anticipating a critical reflection on the formation of the self.

 

Far from being a closed stage, this work functions as an initial archive: here the conceptual axes are established that are later expanded in the different series that make up "The Machine of Influence." Childhood appears as origin, wound, and power, not as nostalgia, but as a territory where the mechanisms of influence that are reproduced in social life begin to be inscribed.
