BIO

Personal profile

My interest in the construction of the self stems from personal experiences during childhood and the need to understand the mechanisms we develop to interact with the world we inhabit. Through a critical observation of social structures and historical milestones, my work examines how individual subjectivity is shaped by systems of influence, power, and collective narratives.

As a contemporary artist with a critical approach, my practice engages with psychopolitics, subjectivity, and power, exploring how early experiences intertwine with broader social and political forces. Far from offering definitive answers, my work seeks to unsettle and challenge the viewer, opening a space for reflection and questions that are deliberately left open.

Throughout my life I have taken different workshops with various visual artists such as Javier Arizabalo, Alejandro Rosenbereg, Alejandro Decinti and Oscar Villalón (Spain 2007), Enrique García Saucedo, Mauricio Gattas, Damián Ontiveros, as well as diplomas and workshops in photography, contemporary art, psychology and philosophy in different institutions and online.

I have exhibited in various public and private spaces, including the Marco Museum (educational gallery), the Arts Center, the García Museum NL, the House of Culture of Monterrey NL, the University Cultural Center Pinacoteca, UANL, and the Metropolitan Museum of Monterrey.
